Animal Kingdom with Characters and Rides Late Arrival Plan
I usually recommend that guests arrive at least 45 minutes prior to park opening, but Animal Kingdom can be a great park for an afternoon visit when it closes at 6:00 PM or later. Guests that can pre-arrange their Fastpass+ choices will find this to be a pretty easy park to tour in the afternoon. Guests that are not able to pre-arrange their Fastpass+ choices are not advised to use this plan. However, all attractions experience really low wait times in their last hour of operation.
This plan was designed to be able to see Festival of the Lion King, Ride all the rides and meet all the characters without much backtracking or rushing around with the park closing at 6:00 PM or later.
Reserve Fastpass+ for the following:
Kilimanjaro Safaris - 1:15pm
Expedition Everest - 4:30pm
Navi River Journey - 7:30pm
